Multiple Author Comment Notification

OK, I've got a Lazyweb request: now that my MT installation has multiple authors, I'm running into a comment notification problem. Even though I'm admin, I'm not getting comment notification emails for comments on posts I haven't authored. I assume Alaina isn't getting notified of comments on my posts, either. I've looked through all the settings I can find, and my host doesn't know how to fix it either. There was a plugin for MT 3.1 called MTBlacklist that could sort this out, but because of the excellent comment-spam protection in 3.2 (the version I run), Blacklist was considered obsolete and has not been updated.

There is one solution I have in mind, and that is to create a joint email account, and set both our email addresses (in the blog's settings) to that. However, I think that's a bit clunky. Another solution is to create an RSS feed for the comments, but I prefer the more permanent database of email. I've created a feed for entries with comments, if you want that you can subscribe here.

LazyWeb is an automated problem-solver, by making a blog post and linking to the site, your question will be included on their blog's homepage, and hopefully answered by someone who knows something. It does this through the magic of Movable Type, trackbacks and helpful internauts. You should check out LazyWeb.org, and see whether you know the answers to any of the questions on there. The karma might come in handy one day.
